Legal Advisor

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Legal Advisor  to join our legal team in Larnaca. This role will involve providing legal support in corporate, commercial, investment  and employment law matters, ensuring compliance with local and EU regulations, and handling legal risks related to the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and respond to daily legal queries related to contract, commercial, trade, and employment law.

  • Provide legal opinions and recommendations, with a focus on investment-related matters.

  • Conduct in-depth legal analysis, study court cases in Greek, and provide internal legal advice.

  • Draft and maintain corporate documents (e.g., minutes, resolutions, PoA, IoT,  filings with the Registrar of Companies etc.).

  • Monitor Cyprus and EU legal frameworks applicable to the business and advise management on necessary actions.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR), trade secrets, and confidentiality requirements.

  • Draft, review, and amend various agreements (e.g., loan agreements, shareholder agreements, service agreements, rental agreements, agreements for provision of investment services, etc).

  • Conduct KYC procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Assist in developing and updating internal policies and guidelines.

  • Perform other legal tasks as assigned by management.

Key Requirements:

🔹 Hard Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus corporate law, employment law, GDPR, and intellectual property law.

  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a legal role within the corporate services or financial sector in Cyprus.

  • Proven experience in drafting contracts and legal opinions.

  • Fluency in  English (both written and spoken), knowledge of Greek will be an advantage

  • Membership in the Cyprus Bar Association (preferred).

  • Previous experience in a regulated firm (advantageous).
