As we continue to expand our presence in the United Kingdom, we are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our London office.

About the Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will partner closely with local and global teams, oversee key HR operations, and ensure an effective employee journey throughout the entire lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
People Strategy & Employee Experience

• Partner with the Country Head to align UK People priorities with local business needs and organisational plans.

• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including relocation, immigration, employment documentation, onboarding, development, performance management and offboarding.

• Drive employee engagement, company values, and local People initiatives.

• Support the implementation of global and local HR policies and standards.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure HR processes and employment practices comply with UK employment, immigration, and data privacy requirements.

• Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and HR documentation.

• Manage immigration and and right-to-work processes, including visa applications and ongoing compliance.

• Manage the organisation's responsibilities under the UK Home Office sponsorship system.

• Work with external immigration advisers where required.

• Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other functions on employment-related business decisions.

• Manage relationships with government authorities, insurers, and other external organisations.

Team, Budget & Vendors

• Lead local HR Operations, set priorities, and manage employees performance.

• Oversee HR OPEX, headcount planning, and People-related costs, including employment, relocation, insurance, and benefits.

• Manage local benefits and external HR service providers.

Workplace Coordination

• Partner with Office Management, Operations to ensure the workplace and infrastructure support business growth and employee experience.

Experience & Knowledge

• Previous experience within financial services, fintech, banking, asset management or trading environments is desirable.

• Strong practical knowledge  of UK employment and immigration legislation. Knowledge of international data privacy requirements, including UK GDPR and other applicable privacy regulations within the HR function.

• Experience interacting with government and immigration authorities,, insurance providers, and other external organisations.

• Comprehensive understanding of the full employee lifecycle and the ability to manage People processes from onboarding through to offboarding.

• Experience working within a matrix organisation with both local and global HR teams.

• Experience developing, adapting, and implementing global and/or local HR policies, procedures, and standards.

• Experience managing HR budgets, workforce planning, and external service providers.

• Ability to operate effectively in an international, fast-paced, and evolving business environment.

• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and seniority levels.

Language

• Fluent written and spoken English is essential.

• Knowledge of the Ukrainian would be an advantage, but is not a determining factor.
