We are looking for a Data Analyst to transform raw data into actionable business insights. You will partner with stakeholders to define key metrics, build intuitive dashboards, and perform deep-dive analyses that drive strategic decision-making. You will bridge the gap between complex data structures and business requirements, ensuring data-driven storytelling is accurate, clear, and impactful.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insight Generation: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business growth.

  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain automated BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into KPIs.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business questions into technical requirements and present findings to non-technical audiences.

  • Data Quality & Validation: Partner with Data Engineering to ensure data accuracy and assist in the validation of data models.

Job requirements

Core Skills & Technologies:

  • Programming & Querying

    • SQL

    • Python is a plus

  • Data Visualization & BI

    • Power BI / Tableau / Looker.

    • Semantic Layering: Experience with DAX (Power BI) or LookML (Looker).

    • Storytelling: Ability to visualize data in a way that highlights key takeaways.

  • Data Platforms

    • BigQuery / Azure Synapse / Microsoft Fabric.

    • Experience with data modeling using DBT is a plus.

  • Data Governance

    • Data documentation and maintenance of the clear definitions in data dictionaries or catalogs.

    • Data Q/A, ensuring data accuracy of data models.

  • Statistics and Experimentation (Nice to Have)

    • Hypothesis testing, probability distributions, and regression.

    • Experience with A/B testing and significance testing.

  • AI/ML (Nice to Have)

    • Familiarity with predictive analytics and machine learning concepts.

    • Familiarity with Vertex AI or BigQuery ML for simple model deployment.

 

Language requirements:

  • English - Upper-Intermediate or higher

  • Ukrainian - Professional fluency (would be an advantage)
